Training Programs

Post-Blast Investigation & Forensics

Every device tells a story. This curriculum teaches bomb technicians and investigators how to read it — from cordon management through fragmentation mapping through component-level attribution.

Who this is for

Bomb technicians who operate in a post-blast role, arson and explosives investigators, federal and state task force members, forensic specialists, and prosecutors who need to understand the investigative chain from scene to courtroom.

What the course covers

How we teach it

Instruction draws on Combined Explosives Exploitation Cell (CEXC) experience, federal bomb technician post-blast casework, and international exploitation training delivered under Department of State-approved programs. Students work representative post-blast scenes under instructor supervision and leave with documentation templates and case-file structures they can use immediately.
