What consulting covers

- Vulnerability assessments: facility, event, and jurisdictional threat reviews with written findings and prioritized recommendations.

- Policy and SOP development: documents your agency can adopt and defend in review or litigation.
- Equipment procurement guidance: specifying robots, X-ray, disruptors, detection tools, and K9 resources to match mission, budget, and accreditation requirements. X-ray imaging and radiation detection each have their own course.
Who you would be working with
Consulting is done by the same instructors who teach our courses. Nobody is handed off to a sales team.
- Founder and lead instructor (Kevin N.): U.S. Marine Corps veteran, retired with honors from the Orange County Sheriff's Department as a former bomb squad commander, with over 500 real-world callouts behind him. Multiple Department of State-approved contracts training foreign police services in EOD detection and handling.
- K9 instructor (Alan S.): 18 years. Senior K9 handler and unit supervisor for a federal law enforcement agency who has trained and certified over 100 K9 detection teams, plus K9 program training for foreign police services under Department of State-approved contracts.
- Tactical operations and threat intelligence instructor (Mark A.): U.S. Navy EOD veteran, FBI Hazardous Devices School certified bomb technician and former HDS recertification instructor, subject-matter support to the DHS Office of Bombing Prevention. Our students include local police and sheriff's department bomb technicians, state bomb squad members, federal agency personnel, National Guard and reserve units, and foreign police services training under Department of State-approved programs. We are based in the Houston metropolitan area and work with agencies anywhere in the United States, and overseas. Assessments and program work happen at your location; travel is built into the quote. GSA Schedule and direct agency billing are available on request.

Consulting scopes vary from a single site assessment through multi-quarter program development. Initial conversations are free. If your agency answers to a specific accreditation standard, tell us at the start. We confirm alignment before any work begins so the program maps to the standard you are reviewed against.
